Christopher Goodpasture

A native of Los Angeles, pianist Christopher Goodpasture has presented acclaimed recitals in North America, Asia and Europe, culminating in reviews in the Huffington Post, LA Opus, the Sarasota Herald Tribune, Schagen FM Review, the San Mateo Journal and the Washington Post and in live radio broadcasts on 88.5 KCSN and 91.5 KUSC. As a frequent recitalist he has presented concerts in prestigious venues around the U.S. including the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., the Sarasota Opera House in Florida, Weill Recital Hall in New York City, and the Richard M. Nixon Library and the Bing Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
Mr. Goodpasture received 1st prize and public prize in the 2011 International Klaviersommer Competition in Germany and the 2008 American Fine Arts Festival Competition, 3rd prize in the 2010 Los Angeles International Bicentennial Liszt Competition, and other prizes and distinctions from the World International Piano Competition of Santa Fe, NM, and the MTAC and MTNA State Competitions.
Mr. Goodpasture completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music under John Perry and Stewart Gordon where he received the 2011 Most Outstanding Graduate Award. Among his other former teachers and mentors are Norman Krieger and Yoshikazu Nagai. Currently, Mr. Goodpasture is pursuing an Artist Diploma from the Glenn Gould School at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto under John Perry.
