Lan Kim is regarded as one of the most promising young pianists in British Columbia. She is the winner of numerous competitions – most notably the Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festival and Richmond Music Festival. Lan has participated in master classes with many international artists, including Hiromi Okada and Milton Schlosser. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of British Columbia under the tutelage of Mark Anderson. Through the university she is the recipient of the Mildred Johnson Scholarship and the Phyllis Schuldt Memorial Scholarship.
